The S-type compact limiter is a mechanical element that shuts off force transmitted when it exceeds the set torque. Torque limiters are used in applications such as copiers and printers, as protective mechanisms to prevent from feeding multiple sheets of paper into the device, or to cancel any force transmitted by an excessive load on the motor. The S-type torque limiter series uses a springboard as a principle to generate torque, making reduced backlash and an ultra-small diameter a reality.
