ANTEO is the expression of a new philosophy for a modular exploration seismograph, designed for an unlimited number of channels. It consists of a control and display unit (ANTEO CU) connected to one or more special seismic cables (ANTEO AD6-x), each one with no.6x 24 bits A/D converters. These converters can be connected to single-connection standard analogue geophones (all frequencies available).
The signal coming from each geophone is digitalized at 24 bits and directly transmitted to the CU, for display of the seismic traces and the resulting treatment of recorded data. This allows you to obtain the best signal/noise ratio, independently of the geophone cable length and reducing to minimum any environmental disturbances present at the acquisition site.
The ANTEO system can be positioned along a minimum of 6 channels up to an infinite number of channels, simply by adding more AD6-x strings to your initial ANTEO system. For example, a standard 24-channel system is therefore composed of an ANTEO CU unit and 4 AD6-x cables. AD6-X is available with standard and custom spacing to meet any needs.
ANTEO CU has the ability to automatically recognise the arrangement of the AD6-x connected to it and can therefore be positioned anywhere on our modular string of AD6-x. The system is able to test all the in-line geophones, checking their electrical characteristics and ensuring that all the parameters are OK before you begin acquisition. The real time noise monitor function will allow you to choose the best moment to shoot, optimising acquisition results.
