Height of container 80 - 260 mm Diameter of container 35 - 66 mm Diameter of cap 35 - 66 mm When the machine is starting the caps, aligned in the sorter, are taken to the capper by a feed rail and positioned below the heads. The collet takes the circumference of the cap, maintaining control and eliminating problems caused by slightly deformed caps. While the machine is turning the collets are lifted up and down by the cam around the insert drum. At the same time the scroll and the infeed starwheel transport the cans under the cap chucks and the caps can be placed onto the containers. After placing, a slight pressure pushes the caps out of the collet to prevent the containers to be pulled up. Due to the continuous motion of the machine, the containers are moved back on to the conveyor and transported to the next machine.
