EKMB & EKMC SERIES “FLAT SQUARE LENS” TYPE PASSIVE INFRARED OR PYROELECTRIC (PIR) MOTION SENSORS
New Panasonic “Flat Square Lens” Type PIR Motion Sensors Are Extremely Low Profile For Positioning Flush With The Surface Of The Housing
Panasonic, a worldwide leader in Sensors technology, is pleased to introduce the New “Flat Square Lens” PIR Motion Sensor Line Extension to the existing EKMB and EKMC Series line ups. The New Flat Square Lens PIR Motion Sensors from Panasonic offers both a low profile and flat surface granting a flush design look with the surface of the build.
The Panasonic “Flat Square Lens” Type PIR Motion Sensors consist of a lens to create various detection zones, an optical filter to block non-infrared light, Pyroelectric sensing elements, and an impedance converter to get an electrical signal. In addition to this, Panasonic also integrates an amplifier and comparator circuit on the same chip all densely packed inside the stem block.
Panasonic’s one-chip ASIC design is superior to discreet solutions by saving space, adding electro-magnetic shielding to all circuitry and cutting down on the number of components required.
Available in White, Black and Pearl White.
