Panasonic’s SF-M Series Flat Type, 1 Form A Form B Safety Relays feature an extremely flat package with a 1 Form A 1 Form B contact arrangement for individualized control as well as an overall small footprint of 14mm (W) x 33 mm (L) x 7.8mm (H) perfect for PCB miniaturization. The forcibly guided contact structure of the SF-M Series Safety Relays complies with IEC61810-3 (EN50205) and enables the detection of contact welding with minimum 0.5mm contact gap for the construction of safety circuits. In addition, the SF-M Series Safety Relays provide an extremely low operating power of 270mW with 100mW coil holding power which allows for application energy savings. As safety becomes increasingly important for automated production facilities and machine tool applications, demand for safety equipment technologies is expanding. The SF-M Series Relays are available in flux-resistant (RTII) or sealed (RTIII) constructions and feature reflow capable with RTII construction.
