Description

PANASONIC TAWERS welding robot – Super Active Aluminium Process (S-AWP) Our S-AWP process was specifically designed to reduce or avoid spatter. This is achieved through the active feed & retraction of the aluminium wire and the specially created software during the welding process. The robot welding torch with direct-drive servo-pull wire feed technology enables precise wire guidance, which eases the control of demanding welding processes. Thanks to our integrated communication between the robot controller and the power source, supplemented by the servo-controlled S-AWP torch, we achieve important results for the welding process, such as minimizing distortion, reducing spatter and protecting the base material properties. Further advantages of the S-AWP process: • - Reduced risk of burn through • - Better gap bridging • - Improving productivity through increasing welding speed when changing from TIG to MIG • - Improvement of the weld seam appearance through the pulse stitch function "Just weld it!"
