Parker Chomerics SOFT-SHIELD® 3500 series foam gaskets are wrapped in a conductive nickel-plated copper fabric and provide excellent compression set in low closure force applications requiring high shielding effectiveness. Parker Chomerics SOFT-SHIELD® 3500 series open cell urethane foam gaskets are wrapped in a conductive nickel-plated copper polyester taffeta fabric and provide excellent compression set (15%) in low closure force applications requiring high shielding effectiveness (>100 dB). SOFT-SHIELD® 3500 is one of the most versatile EMI fabric over foam product offerings on the market. The conductive jacket can also be made of a rip-stop polyester fabric for higher durability applications.
