The Electronic Controls Division mobile machine controllers allow modular system configuration reducing external spend. The CM0711 CAN controller is mainly intended for applications such as powertrain control (e.g., power shift transmissions), or implementing single features on a vehicle, like auxiliary hydraulics control. The module can also act as an additional controller in systems where the existing main controller does not provide enough I/O for the system. The CM0711 controller is designed for the outdoor environment with rugged aluminum housing and two environmentally sealed connectors. The controller complies with protection class IP69K, and operates within a temperature range of -40°C to +85°C. The CM0711 main focus is on high-end output control with closed loop current control, but it is also capable of measuring analog and digital input signals. The module has 7 inputs and 11 outputs. The CM0711 is programmed using C and a provided SDK.
