Parker Type VA, PA, and VPA, series accumulators have a primary purpose to catch and hold any unused portion of the system charge.
Parker Type VA, PA, and VPA, series accumulators have a primary purpose to catch and hold any unused portion of the system charge. The device must also prevent liquid slugging of the compressor and excessive refrigerant dilution of the compressor oil. They must return refrigerant and oil to the compressor at a sufficient rate.
Parker Type RT receivers provides a reservoir for refrigerant during operation of a refrigeration system. During normal operation, the receiver ensures availability of a reserve quantity of refrigerant during periods of high load demands and provides a place to store the refrigerant charge during pump down.
Each is factory tested to ensure positive leak-free performance.
