Parker's Hydra-Tool is an efficient, dependable hydraulic machine for flaring and pre-setting steel and stainless steel tube. The hydraulic push of the Hydra-Tool requires little physical strength by the operator and produces uniform flares and pre-sets.
Markets:
• Construction
• Military Ground Systems
• Aerial Lift
• Agriculture
• Material Handling
• Military Marine
• Machine Tool
• Transportation
• Alternative Energy
• Off-Shore/Oil & Gas
Features/Benefits:
• Flaring: A gauge can be provided to enable the operator to determine the pressure required to adequately flare any given material and wall thickness.
• Pre-setting: The positive stop body die design for pre-setting eliminates the need for predetermined relief valve settings, pressure gauges or chart reading, and allows for uniform assemblies to be made.
• Portable bench or cart mounted machine.
• Flares steel and stainless steel tube from ¼” up to 2” O.D. with wall thicknesses as great as .134”, and 6mm up to 50mm O.D.
• Pre-sets steel and stainless steel tube from ¼” up to 2” O.D., and 6mm to 28mm.
Applications:
• Flaring steel and stainless steel tube for 37° or 45° flare connections and pre-setting Parker ferrules onto steel and stainless steel tube, both for industrial and mobile hydraulic applications
Technical Characteristics:
• An electric or hand hydraulic pump is required to run this machine, and is sold separately.
• Flaring die sets and other tooling are available in nonstandard sizes upon request from the factory.
