K-Slump Tester
STANDARDS : ASTM C1362
K-Slump Tester is used to determine the workability and degree of compaction of fresh concrete after being placed in the forms.
It can be used for in-situ measurements or inside test moulds and forms. Results can be correlated against the slump test.
Operation is very easy .The tester is inserted into the concrete up to the level of the disc.
After 40 seconds, the measuring rod is lowered until it rests on the surface of the concrete that entered the tester.
The K-Slump value is then read on the graduated scale. T
he tester is removed, and the workability value is read on the scale at the height of concrete retained in the tester.
Readings are reliable when 152mm or more of concrete surrounds the tester.
