The accuracy of the power measurement is set by the quality and reliability of the tester. The IEC Standard IEC 60904-9 classifies sun simulators / cell testers in three classes A (the best), B and C depending on three parameters:
IEC 60904-9 Class A CT 2d
Non-uniformity of irradiance ≤ 2 % ≤ 1.0 %
Pulse instability (long term) ≤ 2 % ≤ 1.0 %
Spectral irradiance distribution ≤ ± 25 % ≤ ± 25 %
This means that the CT 2d could be rated class AA as regards light uniformity and pulse stability and class A as regards spectral match. This outstanding quality is the result of Pasan’s more than 25 years of
experience and technical expertise in the field of PV measurements.
The Xenon-flash based CT 2d is suited for integration into cell-sorting systems . The stand alone equipment allows the accurate determination of all relevant IV-parameters. It is also fitted for reverse dark current testing (dark shunt resistance measurement), as well as for dark direct IV curve measurement.
