Description

The accuracy of the power measurement is set by the quality and reliability of the tester. The IEC Standard IEC 60904-9 classifies sun simulators / cell testers in three classes A (the best), B and C depending on three parameters: IEC 60904-9 Class A CT 801 Non-uniformity of irradiance ≤ 2 % ≤ 1.0 % Pulse instability (long term) ≤ 2 % ≤ 1.0 % Spectral irradiance distribution ≤ ± 25 % ≤ ± 25 % This means that the CT 801 could be rated class AA as regards light uniformity and pulse stability and class A as regards spectral match. This outstanding quality is the result of Pasan’s more than 25 years of experience and technical expertise in the field of PV measurement. Therefore manufacturers who want to improve their ROI (Return on Investment) and to price their cells with the highest precision rely on Pasan equipment. The Xenon-flash based, semi-automatic cell tester CT 801 can be integrated into cell-sorting systems, but it can also be used as a stand-alone equipment for incoming and production control. Cells with two or three busbars up to 15.6 x 15.6 cm (6”) can be measured. The cycle time is 3 seconds. Also, part of the equipment is an automatic contact frame equipped with Pasan’s unique long-lasting and robust contact system. The CT 801 was one of the winners of the “Solar award” 2009.
