With the P 5125 it is possible to measure the conductivity of liquids, for example of water. The purer the water, the lower the conductivity (for example, distilled water is purer than normal water and has a low conductivity of approx. <10 µS). In industry in particular, with regard to the quality of the products manufactured, it is important that the water of impeccable quality (purer water) is used in the processes. If the water has a high conductivity or a high level of contamination, the purity of the water (water conductivity) or, e.g. the condition of a water filter can be tested with the meter.
