The MULTIBEND telescopic cover for horizontal axes weighs up to 50% less than a standard telescopic cover. The software developed by PEI for calculating the deflections of the caissons optimises the structure and costs of the cover. With the Multibend telescopic cover you get a reduction in power required to operate the machine tool with reduction of the CO2 emitted.
