The dynamic protection for machine tool guides is a moving barrier on the X and Y axes of modern industrial machines. The X-Y Shield line was created to meet the growing demand for complete protection solutions and PEI has responded to this increase in demand by organising a product division dedicated to this product that applies the concept of short chain to its production. PEI has trained commercial technicians who respond directly to customers for all stages and parts that make up the complete protection: co-design, design, production and sales. PEI technicians develop X-Y shields assisting the customer in choosing the best protection suited to the needs of the machine. The production of stainless steel slats, rails and the frame that wraps and encloses complete the protection is entirely produced within a PEI production chain. The X-Y Shield is the double PEI protection, suitable for separating the work area from the engine compartment, made up of four heat-sealed bellows shielded by stainless steel slats and a stroke limitation system. It is the solution that combines economy, lightness, strength and an excellent aesthetic appearance.
