Description

The ZAS is a rotary-swivel axis with worm gear drive and allows precise and flexible control of both the table and rotary axes. If you need multi-spindle table axes, we also offer different spindle distances to meet your requirements. Our experts are available to help you meet your unique installation space requirements. Contact us to learn more about the ZAS series and how you can optimize your machine tools with our highly efficient indexing units. • C axes pallet interface with zero-point clamping systems • C axes pallet interface DIN 55201 • Units with a fixed housing • Units with a moveable linear housing • Units without counter bearings, overhung • Round housing as built-in cartridge in the machine wall Peiseler uses three-piece worm gears, a well-known design developed by Ott. These gears consist of a worm wheel and a two-piece worm, the shank worm and hollow worm. During assembly, we adjust the gear so it is backlash-free. Readjusting the worm during its service life is simple with a commercially available mounting tool. The design advantages are a compact gear ratio, high mechanical precision and the control's excellent regulatory quality. Heat limits the duty cycle.
