Pad-Ex® 01—Windows Tablet with an 11.6-Inch Display
As a mobile tablet with full Windows support, the rugged Pad-Ex® 01 is ideal for use in harsh environments. If desired, the 11.6-inch tablet can be used as a supplement to or even a replacement for a desktop PC, laptop, or wall-mounted screens.
Available with approvals for: Zone 2, Division 2, Class I, II, III, GRPS A–G, T4, T135 °C Class I, Group IIC T4
Tested to Ensure Safe Operation
Thermal Resistance Test: Over a period of four weeks, the devices are exposed to extreme heat and humidity and a day of extreme cold in an environmental test chamber.
Impact Tests: Test weights are dropped onto the devices several times from predefined heights to ensure the durability of the housings and (touch screen) displays.
Drop Tests: Devices are dropped from a height of 1 m onto a concrete floor to test ruggedness.
Overpressure and Flame Propagation Test: The units are then subjected to hydrostatic pressure tests to verify the strength and integrity of the housing.
