Support type current transformers type BD are used to fit in standard MV cabinets within the 12-72 kV range. They transform high current into standardised values for meters, measuring and protection devices. The support voltage transformer in dry block construction is designed for the mounting in air-insulated medium-voltage cells. A specific core padding and the complete casting of the entire active part in epoxy resin ensure the magnetic properties. With this construction the class accuracy remains constant over decades. The compliance of the partial discharge limit values according to IEC 61869-1 guarantees a safe operation. Primary and secondary connections are brass as standard. The protective cover of the secondary terminals is made of transparent polycarbonate. The mounting position is freely selectable. The voltage transformers are designed according to the common national and international standards. Specific requirements defined by the customer are possible on request.
