Resin casted medium voltage indoor CT’s and VT’s are typically used to fit in standard MV cabinets. Special requirements as high burden for VT’s or capacitive tap for CT’s can be offered. The 2-phase insulation voltage transformer in dry block construction is designed for the mounting in air-insulated MV cells. The magnetic properties of the iron core are ensured by specific padding and potting in epoxy resin. With this construction the class accuracy remains constant over decades . Compliance with the partial discharge limits according to IEC 61869-1 guarantees safe operation. The mounting position is freely selectable. The voltage transformers are designed according to the common national and international standards. Specific requirements defined by the customer are possible on request.
