Depolarization Compensator compensates depolarization in the gain medium.
It’s a new solution to solve the depolarization loss issue – a depolarization compensator. It is a spatially variable wave plate (SVWP), fabricated knowing the level of depolarization, its origin, and amplified laser beam parameters.
