The device features torsional stiffness of 6.5 Nm / Arcmin and backlash of less than or equal to 5 Arcmin (1 stage). Its rated output torque Tn is 48 Nm and the maximum output torque Tp is Tn X 3 Nm. It uses straight gear in place of the helical gear for high rigidity, high torque and better efficiency. It also uses the procedure of pre run for meshing gears inside and making precise backlash. The DS series devices outer shell is made of aluminum. This allows for easy release of heat, making it suitable for many applications. For DH series, some parts of outside shell are made of aluminum.
