The DS series device features torsional stiffness of 27 Nm / Arcmin and a backlash of less than or equal to 11 Arcmin (at 1 stage). Its rated output torque Tn is 285 Nm and the maximum output torque Tp is Tn X 3 Nm. It makes use of straight gear instead of the standard helical gear to achieve higher efficiency. It also uses the highly efficient procedure of pre-runs for meshing gears inside and making precise backlash. The device comes with an outer shell made of aluminum for easy heat release for application.
