Description

GAS SMART METERS Smart Meters RSE RSE series domestic gas meters belong to the new generation of smart devices developed and produced by Pietro Fiorentini to fulfil all requirements of resolution ARG/Gas 631/13 of the Energy and Gas Authority (AEEG). They are based on integrating conventional Pietro Fiorentini gas meters with new generation electronic modules. The mechanical measuring group, already installed and tested over millions of domestic utilities, is acknowledged for its accuracy and high reliability over time. The type of gas, its pressure as well as any impurity does not affect its performance. RSE meters are certified for high environment temperature resistance (EN 1359 6.5.5.), also thanks to a patented electrical wiring system, which does not add any leakage point to the meter case. Transmission from the measuring group to the electronic board is via a high technology interface based on an efficient anti-tampering system, providing the maximum guarantee against any attempted fraud. Electronic Design Battery consumption has driven the choice of the electronic components and the design of the interfaces and communication parts. The remote gas supply management feature is available thanks to a fully integrated ON/OFF motorized full-bore remotely operated valve. Valve operation matches the requirements specified in UNI/TS 11291-11 norm.
