Piller specialists ensure operating personnel of all Piller products are fully trained. Piller has supplied 50/60Hz ground power systems for both military and civil applications. Through continual research and development a high level of flexibility is guaranteed in meeting clients’ requirements. Products include Piller Motor Generator Sets with full digital control and the Piller UNIBLOCK UBSF. The main purpose of the Motor Generator is to convert the 50Hz power from the mains to 60Hz power used for load supply. The experience that Piller has gained in the construction of several thousand power supply systems was utilised during development. The MG-Set consists of a converter and a switchboard. Two different versions are available. Version one is the so called “free standing version”. In this case the converter and the switchboard are separated.
