Totally rigid for small bores from 6 mm. up to 38 mm. diameter.
High precision adjustment through a graduated dial featuring 0.002 mm. readout precision on diameter.
Pre-load device between body and slide block to prevent movement when tightening the lock screw for working.
Micro boring heads accept boring bars of various diameter sizes and lengths made both from steel or solid carbide.
A 042 016 Micro boring head has a socket diameter of 16 mm. to fit boring bars with shank diameter of 16 mm. and reductions to 5, 6, 8, 10, 12 and 16 mm, all together covering a diameter range from 6 mm. up to 38 mm. of hole.
