Description

The expansion of the P-KUBE family of safety handles has continued with the introduction of a new device which, in combination with the ST series RFID safety sensors, is able to create a modern, effective interlock system for all guards on machines without inertia: the P-KUBE Smart handle. The new handle integrates an RFID TAG that can be detected by the sensors of the ST family as if it were a normal actuator. The RFID TAG is contained in an orientable block inside the handle, which can be rotated in three directions, so that it can always be correctly oriented toward the ST sensor. This makes the handle suitable for any installation; it can be used on hinged or sliding doors that open to the right or to the left and can be mounted horizontally or vertically. Reminiscent of the P-KUBE Krome handle, which is already well-known and appreciated for its modern, ergonomic design, the latest addition to the P-KUBE series features the same grip with its front band, available in satin chrome or backlit white finishes, as well as the option of integrating a control button to interact with the machinery. Designed with the same handle size and the same interaxle spacings for the fixing holes of the inner plate, the P-KUBE Smart series can be used as inner handle in guards using the P-KUBE Krome safety handle for NS and NG series RFID safety switches with lock.
