Description

Unlike high-performance Venturi scrubbers (where separation is possible with high losses of pressure) ,Venturi scrubber with adjustable throat and hybrid nozzles, is simple in design and guarantees secure operation with a pressure loss tending to zero. Thanks to the pulsed operation of the hybrid nozzles , the turbulence in the area of the slots of the venturi throat increases considerably, which improves the contact and mass transfer between the dust or aerosol and the scrubbing liquid, achieving a significant increase in separation efficiency. Numerous tests carried out by both Bayer and the University of Kaiserslautern , have shown high efficiency in the separation of fine particles and aerosols with a minimum pressure loss, which is a vast improvement over other systems. The Bayer - Reither Venturi scrubber system is ideally suited to complement and enhance existing facilities due to its high separation efficiency, with a minimum pressure loss.
