Thanks to the pulsed operation of the hybrid nozzles , the turbulence in the area of the slots of the venturi throat increases considerably, which improves the contact and mass transfer between the dust or aerosol and the scrubbing liquid, achieving a significant increase in separation efficiency.
Numerous tests carried out by both Bayer and the University of Kaiserslautern , have shown high efficiency in the separation of fine particles and aerosols with a minimum pressure loss, which is a vast improvement over other systems.
