Description

Recently, batteries series OPzS take on greater importance. Batteries series OPzS are operated both in standby parallel mode, providing all DC load in case of emergency, and in cyclic mode (discharging, charging). They provide necessary power supply in case of constantly or frequently interrupted power supply from network or from devices. When power supply from network or from device recovers, accumulator batteries start recharging. Batteries type OPzS are manufactured as separate components with capacity from 200 AHr up to 12000 AHr. Series up to 3000 AHr are assembled in transparent plastic monoblock units with threaded or welded poles. Large units up to 12000 AHr are assembled in ebonite monoblock units with welded poles Features and benefits of OPzS accumulator batteries: correspond to DIN 40736 and DIN 40737 part 3; proved traditional technology with liquid electrolyte; extremely high lifetime: 15 years with residual capacity 80 % and higher; low maintenance due to reduced antimony content (LA mark) in applied alloys and large electrolyte margin; fixed units and units with ironclad positive plates and pasted negative plates; easy installation with application of bolt terminals with insulated covers; specially suitable and efficient upon discharging within an hour and more due to application of ironclad plates; very low gas release due to application of alloys with less than 3 % antimony content according to VDE 0510 German standard part 2; specially produced for cyclic application due to antimony-containing alloys and ironclad plates.
