ZAC welding nipples are manufactured with a dovetail end to match GY-type dovetail nozzle tips. One end of the nipple is fastened onto the pipe, and the other end to the nozzle tip, using a VAA locknut. The dovetail design of these nipples keeps them orientated correctly in the desired position, thus shortening the time for nozzle tip cleaning and orientation adjustments.
