Opti Control makes machine control easier, as the loader, handles and buttons, transmission and diesel engine operate as a single easy-to-use system. OPTI PC ACCELERATES WOOD PROCUREMENT PONSSE forwarders can be seamlessly connected to the wood procurement management system using the high-performance Opti PC system and the Opti Forwarder software. This enables short-distance transport to be planned and implemented and roadside storage to be monitored almost in real-time. The software includes the Opti Control machine control system with operator profiles, the operator-specific Opti Progress Control productivity monitoring feature, as well as data transfer and reporting programs. A map program with GPS positioning and a data transfer application can also be added to the system. The Opti Map 2 program, available as an additional feature, is a versatile map positioning program for forest machines, which supports the comprehensive Opti 4G information system. When planning forwarder work, Opti Map 2 displays the harvester trail, the quantities of assortments by the trail and the locations of the harvester where it processed each pile.
