Harvester head H8

Ponsse’s H8 harvester head is designed for superior harvesting performance in larger timber. The machine is integrated with sophisticated components that can accelerate harvesting, improve product quality and generate quality performance. With its huge feed force and impressive capacity, the machine can successfully handle big-sized trees. To ensure smooth handling of large stems, the machine has innovative grip geometry and a feed opening range of 40 to 740 mm. The strong grip on the trunks and enhanced capability of the feed, makes the feed rollers and blades work well and can be adjusted easily even while in operation. The grip is strong and prevents slippage, thanks to the normal grip pressure. The feed motor locking switch further enhances gripping capabilities.
