The smallest of our miniature linear stepper motor line, is the 20DAM-K which is a high-performance captive miniature linear actuator that provides up to 30.6 N of linear force in a 20mm frame size. The miniature linear motor is a can stack stepper motor with a built-in leadscrew to directly convert rotary motion into linear motion. Using the basic can stack stepper motor design, the miniature linear stepper actuator has a 15 degree step angle. The rotor magnet sits on a thermoplastic nut captured between two ball bearings secured in the end caps. Depending on the level of integration required, the DLA can be captive (limited travel) or non-captive (extended travel).
