Description

Our M510 rotary indexing table is designed for heavy applications that require heavy loads. It can be installed horizontally, vertically or inverted (upside down). Ideal for applications such as: – robotic welding stations – auto assembly line – pallets displacements – special machines To select which model will be used in your project, it is necessary to know in addition to the loads below, also the moment of inertia of the set that will be moved, the time in seconds for positioning and the number of stations (stops). Example: Moment of inertia 12Km2, speed 1.5 seconds, 12 stations. A- Maximum axial load (*): It represents the total mass distributed evenly over the turntable (or total weight) (*) – the maximum total load refers to forces on the turntable. This does not mean that the indexing table will be able to rotate such mass, as rotation depends on three factors: • angular displacement (or number of stations) • angular velocity / acceleration • total moment of inertia (masses and distance the masses are from the center of the turntable) B- Maximum radial load: Represents forces perpendicular to the center of the rotating plate, usually exerted by actuators outside the indexing table, aligned with the center of this plate. C- Maximum vertical torque: It represents the unbalance of masses on the turntable, or the twisting of this turntable usually caused by actuators outside the indexing table that exert axial force on only one side of the turntable. - D- Horizontal maximum torque: represents external forces in the direction of rotation of the indexing table, forcing the turntable to rotate or stop rotating.
