SD700FL comes with an input notch filter that improves performance by reducing the THDi to below 5%. The device is constructed using the parallel connection of individual filtering modules. These modules are all controlled and monitored using a SD700 drive. Each module comes with temperature sensors and a contactor. The contactor is controlled by the drive and this will depend on the motor load. It is used to isolate the long life integrated capacitors.
SD700FL offers various features such as filtering process which does not depend on the grid impedance. Thus, it does not cause resonance, unlike the passive filter. Its performance also does not depend on electrical grid modifications, making it suitable for any low harmonic application.
