PRAB’s furnace feeder scrap removal systems allow you to meter feed abrasive die scrap casting metal and other materials directly to the scrap metal furnace. • Feeds both reverbs and “through-the-wall” designs • Standard design incorporates an oscillating steel trough plus heat shields and stainless-steel discharge chutes that extend into melt area • May be batch loaded or used as the final component of a complete scrap-to-remelt system for scrap metal recycling • Easily replaceable stainless-steel trough extension and heat shield Health & Safety Furnace feeders decrease scrap contact with operators and allow them to be distanced from high-temperature furnaces.
