submersible electric pumps are pumps with impellers mounted directly on the drive shaft. The suction end is placed under the electric motor, which is cooled by the pumped liquid. Radial-centrifugal impellers are used in SCUBA pumps. The pump design is of the block type with an inlet at the base to tanks or wells with a low water level. 6″ pumps are made with a cooling jacket and a reinforced design through the use of a double seal with an oil chamber. Maximum sand content in water up to 25 g/m³.
Features of SCUBA pumps
rotors mounted directly on the drive shaft,
diffusers, external sleeve, motor housing, suction strainer and shaft extension in AISI 304 steel,
the motor is available in single and three-phase versions,
the electric motor is protected by a double seal system with an oil chamber,
increasing the pressure by inserting the pump directly into the tank or well, which helps avoid suction problems and noise,
engine cooling through pumped medium,
dry running protection.
