With SRS a reference is given so every die is instantly usable without manual overlaying of traces. New trace finding is not necessary. Profiroll Spline Rolling dies have a special bore profile. This system is needed for referencing of die profile to rolling spindle and to avoid any backlash. This is the first key to achieve high quality splines.
