The special punching-riveting machine Proge22 has been developed to join sheet metals with metal profiles using countersunk head rivets.
During the working cycle, a special punch, punches the hole through the parts to be joined. The rivet is automatically positioned in the punched hole and the pressed.
The particularly riveting system provides a perfectly flatness between the sheet metal and the head of the rivet. the countersunk head of the rivet is pushed in the sheet metal during the working cycle. The result is a complete flat surface where the rivet countersunk head can hardly be noticed.
During all the working cycle, the pieces that must be riveted, are kept together by special pressing tools that will not release them until cycle if completed.
