The main characteristics of DAH series PROMILL STOLZ choppers are : Meccano type concept of the overall assembly where all the components are interchangeable, Gravity feed through top of the chopper, Extra thick steel side flanges, Crushing chamber fitted with interchangeable impact plate, Heavy duty rotor made up of steel discs supporting the knives and mounted on a large diameter shaft. The perfectly balanced assembly rests on bearings sunken in the flanges, Direct dynamic jection of the chopped produce on the rear bottom side part of the chopper, Drive by means of one or two motors with pulley transmissions, belts and protective casings. The rapid changing of the transmission ratios make it possible to modify the rotating speed of the chopper which, in its turn, influences the granulometry of the outgoing product.
