Pronal diaphragms closure are flexible inflatable jacks. These jacks are installed in the legs of offshore platforms and assist the buoyancy of the fixed platform, while also maintaining its center of gravity when it is installed at sea.
In addition, they are used in many applications such as :
jacket buoyancy
mud barrier
pile floating
Made from high resistance rubber coated fabric and assembled by hot vulcanisation, our diaphragms closure are designed to take into account :
leg ID
Thickness of the leg
Water depth
Finally, a steel insert is vulcanized into the rubber diaphragm creating a perfect tightness to the Leg. there is no risk for the rubber diaphragm separating from the flanges.
