The standard inflatable pipe plug (OPL) is designed to temporarily or permanently plug pipes, sewers or gutters. Flexible and light, it is effective for a fast, tight and reliable sealing of the pipe.
Many sizes are available to cover pipes from 30 to 2000 mm in diameter. Thanks to these various diameters, this plugging balloon can be used in many fields: sewage, rainwater, wastewater and hydrocarbon and/or chemical pipes.
Moreover, the standard inflatable pipe plug is available in standard or by-pass versions. Thanks to this adaptability, it is possible to safely carry out an application such as:
Pipe repairs,
Pipeline maintenance,
Flow deviations,
Air or water tightness test, according to the NF-EN1610 standard,
And hydraulic testing.
Designed from elastomer, the range of inflatable plugs meets high internal safety criteria (see also the OPAP and OFR emergency pipe plug). Pronal is aware of the risks incurred by the users of the inflatable plugs and puts the priority on the performance of these products. Thus, the OPL range is designed to resist a minimum bursting safety coefficient of 3. In addition, the rubber used offers very good performance against abrasion and slippage.
Choosing this range of OPL inflatable pipe stoppers means working with a high-performance and reliable product that will last over time!
