Mud Wiper Seals are circular lip seals designed to prevent mud rising from the seafloor. Acting as an effective “anti-mud” barrier, they prevent all impurities entering the legs of offshore platforms.
These non-inflatable toric seals are used to prepare grouting operations. They prevent mud from penetrating the void between the internal diameter of the platform leg and the external diameter of the anchor pile.
The mud wiper seal provides a mud barrier when the jacket is set on the sea bed and avoids mud rising after pile driving.
Our products are made out of high resistance fabric coated with rubber and assembled by hot vulcanisation.
Our mud wiper seals are designed according to :
Leg ID
Pile OD
A steel insert is vulcanized in the mud wiper providing a perfect tightening to the leg. There is no possibility for the mud wiper to come out of the flange.
Our teams can travel on-site to install your offshore buoyancy kits no matter where you are located!
