Description

Inflatable Grout packers, or inflatable toric seals, are used in operations for concreting the void between the internal diameter of the platform leg and the external diameter of the anchor pile. They are used for: Solidifying the anchor pile inside each platform leg Improving the platform’s anchoring at sea The grout packers provide a perfect reliable seal between the ID of the leg and the OD of the pile for grouting purposes. They are the most efficient seals for grouting operations taking into account the grout column and water depth. Our solutions are made from high resistance rubber coated fabric. In addition, they are assembled by hot vulcanization. This is a solution for your oil & gas project. Inflatable packers can withstand a high grout column or water depth independent of the jacket leg dimensions. The grouting operation can be completed in one stage. Detailed information Material: SBR (Styrene Butadiene Rubber) Technique: hot vulcanisation in a vacuum autoclave Dimensions: Min. 29.5″ (749.3 mm) for 24.5″(622.3 mm) pile diameter /Max. 92.5″ (2349.5 mm) for 87″ (2209.80 mm) pile diameter Form: cylindrical Inflation: Air, water, Nitrogen Temperature resistance: 0°C / +60°C Max. inflation: defined by the clients’ specifications Max. thickness: defined by the clients’ specifications Grade of steel: defined by the clients’ specifications
