The SERCO TU 1100 unit is designed for machining surfaces up to 1,100 mm (43.3”) in Ø. Specially designed support arms increase its capacity.
The rigidity of its design also enables it to machine valve seats down to depths of 500 mm (19.7”).
Like the TU 400 and TU 600, it is equipped with automatic feed systems and can be fitted with an RTJ system.
Different surfaces finish can be performed according to the application of the seal surface
Some examples :
• Stock Finish : generally required when the surface is in contact with a gasket, the seal surface comprises a continuous spiral groove
• Spiral Serrated : As for the stock finish the final result makes a spiral groove usually done by Facing tool bit 90°s. The “V” geometry has an angle of 45° (with radial feed manual).
• Cold water finish : Used for two flange surfaces directly in contact with each other’s without any joints.
• Concentric Serrated : concentric teeth, concentric grooves are placed at a constant distance
The chain clamping system, SERCO FC 1150, is specially designed for the portable pneumatic machine SERCO TU 1100 unit in order to reach a maximum of surfaces to repair.
SERCO TU 1100 unit can also be used with the RTJ system to perform conical machining functions.
The "FSTG 1000" system for clamping the unit onto the dowel pin bores enables the SERCO TU1100 - TU1200 - TU1400 - SERCO XP 900NG units to be held onto the outside surface of a flange in order to re-machine sealing surfaces and dowel pin bearing surfaces.
