The SERCO TU 400 is perfectly suitable for machining operations that need to be done by a single operator in a confined space. While maintaining its precision of 0.01 mm, the TU 400 is fitted with automatic or manual axial and radial feed movements. This feature, compared with the TU 200, enables it to work with a regular autonomous movement. The TU 400 can also be used with the RTJ system to perform conical machining functions. In order to machine a maximum surface, the TU 400 can be held on an outside surface using the FC745 chain clamp.
