Tube beveling machine S18

The air-powered Protem S18 beveling machine is a portable and robust weld-end preparation lathe. It prepares pipe edges that have an outer diameter range from 18 to 42 mm, for welding. The cutting head individually bevels, faces and counterbores or does so in a synchronised operation. The S18 is easy to install on pipes and completely accepts torque, due to which it does not require holding devices for machining. It needs a minimum clearance from the pipe centreline of just about 25.4 mm. And this will facilitate precise machining in a an area that is constricted. The machining capacity is 18 mm internal and 42 mm outer diameter. The bevel forms include I, V, U, counterbore, or a special shape on request.
