Description

The Protem TTLW series of machines is a prime example of ingenious engineering. It is designed to accomplish both cutting and beveling in a concurrent, synchronized process. The ultra-compact machine is perfect for use in applications with severe space constraints. Additionally, its light weight makes it adaptable to mounting directly onto in-line piping systems. The bearings on which the turning ring rotates are adjustable, which allows easy resetting of the machine. The TTLW enables the realization of a vast range of weld joint designs such as severance cut, both ends beveled, counterbore, socket weld removing, J-bevel, compound bevel and so on. It can cut a maximum of 25.4 mm on various materials and can cut and bevel a maximum of 20 mm on carbon steel. The machine is designed with a split frame and is extremely rugged in construction. It incorporates a low frictional cutting technique and can be fit with an array of tools sizes in the range of 2 to 24. It is equipped with an adjustable bearing system. The TTLW is powered by a potent hydraulic or pneumatic drive with fully encased drive gears, ensuring high operator safety. Tool holders are robustly built while tools can be changed easily, with zero adjustment requirements to enable time-saving. The machine is equipped with a dedicated counterbore module which provides excellent precision in ID machining.
