Portable chamfering machine S18

The S18 by Protem is a Chamfering machine which comes with a robust portable weld end preparation lathe. The unit can perform in a repeatable quality weld preps manner which suits to most metal pipes that include stainless steel having a size of 18 to 42 mm. Also, it comes with a cutting head that can bevel, face and counter bore within a synchronized operation. It can be easily installed on all type of pipe and can have a completely torque accepting. For its requirements, the unit only demand a 25.4 minimum clearance coming from the pipe center line. With these clearance, it is just enough to allow a precise machining within a very restricted working areas. For other information, it has a machining capacity of 18 mm.
